Every avatar is generated by nearly 200 different traits, each one with a 1/1 combination. Some traits are more rare than others, and there are 16 extra special Archmages: the main characters of The Wizzyverse lore.

This website is the only place where you can mint the Avatars: wizzyverse.com. A dedicated subdomain is coming soon.

The public sale will begin November 22 at 8PM UTC. Whitelisted users will have access to a 12-hour presale beginning at 8AM UTC.

One Avatar NFT will cost 250 SAND on the Polygon network. Whitelisted users will have a reduced price of 175 SAND during the 12-hour presale. USDC on Polygon can be used alternatively, with the price being matched to the SAND value at the beginning of the mint.

During the public sale, you can mint up to ten avatars on a single transaction. During the presale, those on the whitelist can mint up to a limit based on the number of Wizzy related NFTs they hold. The whitelist is now public for review. Join our Discord to make a ticket by November 19th if you spot any issues with the whitelist you'd like us to correct.

The Avatars will be revealed 48 hours after presale starts. A 3D viewer is part of the NFT, which you can access from your wallet address on OpenSea or other platforms that support the Polygon network. If your wallet is connected to an account on The Sandbox, you will be able to find it in the avatar selection menu.

You should be able to mint with most EVM wallets that supports the Polygon network. We use Wallet Connect, which supports Metamask and many others. Please check Wallet Connect's list of certified compatible wallets to be sure. We know that Venly is popular with Web3 games and specifically is not compatible with Wallet Connect.

Each Avatar will be playable inside The Sandbox on reveal. Not all experiences in The Sandbox are designed to use your chosen avatar, but any that support “medium” (average) size human avatars will support Wizzy. Your Wizzy avatar can be equipped with armor and weapons from your wallet, as well as in-game pickups. Some experiences will be gated to work only with Wizzy avatars for special events. You will be able to use it as an Avatar by simply selecting it in the Avatar Manager in The Sandbox dashboard once it has been revealed.

After the initial sale is over, you will be able to purchase as many avatars as you like from owners that are willing to sell theirs on the secondary marketplaces like OpenSea and LooksRare.

The snapshot was already taken on 11/22/2025. You can check if your wallet is on the list and how many mints you are allotted on the Presale Whitelist.

If you are checking before they have been revealed, this is normal. If you are checking after that date, press the “Refresh Metadata” button on the top-right corner of OpenSea.

The process is quite simple:

• Create an account on The Sandbox. This is not needed to mint, but it is the first place you will be able to play as your avatar.
• Ensure you have both the correct amount of SAND the Polygon network to mint the number of avatars you want and some POL (Polygon's native token, formerly MATIC) to cover the gas fees.
• Go to the mint page once the presale (if whitelisted) or public sale begins: https://mint.wizzyverse.com
• Check that your wallet is properly connected, select the number of avatars you want to mint, and select the currency you will be paying with. Click MINT, and approve the transaction in your wallet.

The Wizzy Avatars are currently on Polygon. The Sandbox operates entirely on Polygon at this point, and everyone benefits from the reduced gas fees.
